in this post i will be exploring how photography is used yet in another way , lines in an image create perspectives from angles such as vertical and horizontal angles, also this can been viewed on a diagonal angle.
The images above show a vertical angle, This way of using line's can show how lines really do make up a picture, for example if a set of vertical lines are shown in a picture, they create a focus point for the viewer to see where the lines lead to. All vertical lines in an image give the impression that in the distance these lines will meet from the angle of which the image is taken from.
Like vertical images, horizontal images draw you into a point of focus. This feature is used in the same way to bring something to a point. Horizontal lines follow a path leading to a subject. if you look at the image on the left, this image has 3D lines embossing the picture. This is an additional feature when using lines as it shows how the camera was angled when the image was taken.
These images show above show the way diagonal lines change perspective on an image, in diagonal images the eye naturally will want to follow the lines in the direction the lines are heading. This shows how focus points come into place. Looking at the image of the hair , the lines are in a diagonal line but still have uneven placement. this shows that lines show a main subject but also features along side the image's main point.
